Hi tastytrader,
In accordance with U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requirements, brokers request a signed Form W-9 primarily to confirm clients’ U.S. tax status, obtain their taxpayer identification number, and fulfill their obligations to report investment income to the IRS. Your Form W-9 has expired and requires recertification and renewal. Failure to complete the renewal may result in a suspension of trading on your account. Please complete the required process as soon as possible.
